Live Reflectively: Lessons from the
Watershed Moments of Moses,
by Lenya Heitzig is a daily devotional book.
It’s considered a twenty-minutes-a-day study, which focuses on scripture
passages from the book of Exodus.
According to
page 11, Heitzig shared, “It is my prayer that as you gaze into the watershed
moments of Moses you will experience life-changing encounters with God…. I hope that these lessons prompt you to Live Reflectively as you radiate God’s
faithfulness to the world around you.”
There are ten
sections (or main lessons) that are each divided into five daily lessons of
study. The main lessons are titled as Beware of Undercurrents, Buckets of Love,
The Straw That Broke Pharaoh’s Back, Death on the Nile, Red Sea at Night, Sweet
Song of Salvation, Wonder Bread, Between a Rock and a Hard Place, Mountaintop
Experience, and A Taste of Their Own
Medicine.
There’s a
special section, titled as How to Get the
Most Out of This Study, which is a valuable resource for those leading this
study guide, as well as those doing this study individually. Live
Reflectively is geared towards
women, particularly young adults to the older generations.
